Being Single.

We don't wish people to hate us; but actually, the kind of love that we can have in this world is almost bondage. Even the good relationships are only bondage; because in thinking of them, we forget to set each others free. We demand from each other attention, love in return and all these kinds of things. Rarely the love between a couple flows freely without attachment, without demand, without command, without really any condition and without effort.
You are freer if you have no one to love you. Truly, it is like that. Anything has a price. Even if a person loves you, you must take extra care of him or her, so that he is happy; because if he is not happy, you are not happy. But if a person hates you, pooh... nice, good-bye. Nothing for you to do, nothing for you to worry about. It's not my fault if you hate me. That's good.

Mostly you must make an effort in order to keep it, and any effort takes time and energy. Any person who you love around you, you must take time and attention, even if you don't want to. You just have to pay attention and we are diverted from the one-pointed concentration inside. Not many people can concentrate inside(spirit, soul) and outside at the same time. Even if he or she can, there must be time and it's time consuming. While you pay attention to these things, you cannot pay attention to that thing. Even if you can remember both things at the same time, you can only do one thing at a time. You cannot pay attention to this one and then also at the same time fully pay attention to the other things.

So, actually we are perfect alone. We know what we have to do and what time to do what. But, unluckily, this world is made of many beings, including human beings; and we have to interact with them all the time if we have to do something, or else just go to the Himalayas, or some other mountain, be alone, do things yourself, that is also good. Maybe this sounds very useless, but it is good.

Spiritual Unconditional Love.

There are different levels of love. There is the family love involving parent, child and siblings. Then there is the friendship love we learn in school amongst our dear friends. Then there is sexual/romantic love that we experience as we reach maturity. But beyond that love is a more encompassing love. It is not a love that can be limited to a few people. When you comprehend that we are all part of each other, and once you have learned to love and accept yourself unconditionally, then this naturally disseminates to all those around you. Ịt is not confined to a child, parent, friend or lover. At the highest level, we are One so how can we turn our backs on anyone? You help and love others because in reality, you are really helping yourself. How can we possibly play favorites with one human? This is not unconditional love. This also plays a role in teaching, for I'm not just teaching a subject to a person, but at the highest level, I am teaching myself.

We have learned conditional love from those that held fear, ego, and guilt in their hearts. This is not to be judged, just accepted.Starting from an early age, we saw that our value was determined by how those around us behaved or reacted to us. We grew to think of our value as external, not internal. This is normal for our society and yet we now must heal from this experience by moving from "love with conditions" to "love without conditions".Before we can love anyone unconditionally, we must first love ourselves. We have to give and express the unconditional love to ourselves that was not provided to us by our biological parents. We re-parent ourselves not by our parents but by our own inner source of love.

It is no suprise to me that Buddah, Jesus and other masters had no wife. This would not allow them to fully be what they were teaching. Univeral love extends to all as we are all Part of One. Often relationships pull us into a very narrow expression of love. "Love me and no other... Spend all your time with me or I'll feel that you don't love me (conditions)... If you loved me, you'd do this to make me happy (more impossible conditions)... When you ascend to the higher planes your ego is stripped fully away. There is only conscious light and oneness. Much of our perceived misery here is that we separate ourselves from this fact.

Gandhi to us.

Words of a mahatma.....
“Just as the body cannot exist without blood, so the soul needs the matchless and pure   strength of faith.”
“Earth provides enough to satisfy every man’s need, but not every man’s greed.”
“There is nothing that wastes the body like worry, and one who has any faith in God  should be ashamed to worry about anything whatsoever.”
“Whenever you have truth it must be given with love, or the message and the   messenger will be rejected.”
“The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.”
“You may never know what results come of your action, but if you do nothing there   will be no result.”
“Anger and intolerance are the twin enemies of correct understanding.”
“Whenever you are confronted with an opponent. Conquer him with love.”
“One must be the change one wishes to see in the world.”

Spiritual Growth.

Spiritual growth is of great importance for everyone, Spiritual growth is the basis for a better and more harmonious life for everyone, a life free of tension, fear and anxiety.
Spiritual growth is a process of becoming more and more conscious and aware of our inner being. This process uncovers the inner spirit that is always present, but hidden beyond the ego-personality.Spiritual growth is the process of inner awakening, and becoming conscious our inner being. It means the rising of the consciousness beyond the ordinary existence, and awakening to some Universal truths. It means going beyond the mind and the ego and realizing who you really are.
By discovering who we really are we take a different approach to life. We learn not to let outer circumstances influence our inner being and state of mind. We develop inner power and strength, all of which is very useful and important tools.
Spiritual growth is not a means for escaping from responsibilities, behaving strangely and becoming an impractical person. It is a method of growing and becoming a stronger, happier and more responsible person.

Some tips for spiritual growth:
Learn to make your mind quiet through concentration exercises
Read spiritual and motivating books. Think about what you read, and find out how you can use the information in your life.
Meditate for at least 15 minutes every day. If you do not know how to meditate, it is easy to find books, websites who can teach you meditation.
Look often into yourself and into your mind, and try to find out what is it that makes you feel conscious and alive.
Realize the fact that you are a spirit with a physical body, not a physical body with a spirit. If you can really accept this idea, it will change your attitude towards many things in your life.
Develop the happiness habit, by always looking at the bright side of life and endeavoring to be  happy. Happiness comes from within. Do not let your outer circumstances decide your happiness for you.

Think positive. If you find yourself thinking negatively, immediately switch to thinking positively. Be in control of what enters your mind. Open the door for the positive and close it for the negative.
Thank the Universe for everything that you get.
Exercise often your will power and decision making ability. This strengthens you and gives you control over your mind.
Develop tolerance, patience, tact and consideration for others.

You can walk on the path of spiritual growth, and at the same time live the same kind of life as everyone else. You do not have to live a secluded life in some far away place. You can raise a family, work or run a business, and yet at the same time engage in practices that lead to inner growth.

Spirituality means

Spirituality is, in the most basic sense, matters pertaining to the spirit and is based on the idea that there exists something, be it a state of mind, a being, or a place, that is outside the experience of our five limited senses. Spirituality is the personal relationship of the individual to this state of mind, being or place and often emphasizes the notion of a path, that spirituality is a goal in achieving understanding, or an improved relationship with the sacred.

spirituality deals with issues of inner beliefs and feelings, and is closely associated with religion and philosophy. Its various forms hope to shed light on the human experience of reality, purpose, and the meaning of life.Spirituality is a word which puts a human being on the highest base. The goal of Spirituality is moksha of life. Spirituality is living life as it was meant to be... not as we may have desired or wanted living it. It is a certain fact that only the true seekers of Spirituality become the masters of their destiny. Many people who have a materialistic goal in life travel the path of Spirituality and become successful in life. Spirituality definitely helps one take control of destiny.

As we proceed on the path of pure Spirituality we tend to develop a positive approach towards life under a positive attitude of mind. Spirituality makes a perfect man out of a negative thinker. In the field of Spirituality there is no place for any negative thinking. One who has fixed a goal in life and always indulges in positive oriented thinking can not be a loser in life.
Spirituality makes you feel all the time that there is something higher than the mere existence as a human being. Spirituality spells out that God exists within every living being as our soul. It is God within us which guides us on the right path whenever we tend to go wrong. If we desire to know God truly then we need to follow the path of pure Spirituality. It is only as a true spiritual seeker shall we realize God one-day.

Spirituality truly is the essence of life. However materialistic we maybe on the earthly plane... there shall come a day when Spirituality would completely wipe us clean of all the impurities within us.
It is Spirituality which teaches every human being the real value of life... being spiritual is not being religious alone... Spirituality teaches us the core values of life... the real essence of us!
It is Spirituality alone which removes the fear of death. Spirituality gives you a commanding position in lifeRight from day one when we are born and until the last breath... it is Spirituality which keeps our heart pumping all through. It is Spirituality which clears all doubts about soul.Spirituality clears all doubts related to the concept of God.Spirituality confirms that life has to go on... it is a journey to be completed.

Friday

Thank you God for what we have

I met with an accident and broke my spine. Life became totally dependent on the other peoples for everything I felt miserable - I became frustrated.
Well then within myself the magic happened. I started questioning myself, what if I would have lost my hands, or what if I would have lost my eyes or my life in accident. I really felt that I should be thankful to God for what I have.

Joy is the greatest weapon God gave us, so why waste it on getting frustrated on things that we have no control of and instead find happiness and be content with what we have been blessed with rather than having a pity party and keep asking, "Why me?" when things don't go our way. The bottom line is - for me - I don't have to LIKE my situation, but I can't change it so I've chosen to be happy anyway and being involved

Life is truly easier when you see your cup half full. You will always find someone that has it much harder than you do and that is why I thank God for giving me the the gift to recognize that and keep focused on the good in life and in people and wake up each day saying, "It's good to be me!"
I started feeling what I have instead of what I don't have, and I stopped complaining. I stared living with open handed with my present. We need to know that living in the present is most important thing in this world, forget about the past, forget about the future, just live in present and be thankful to god for what you have, you will feel better and you will live happy forever.
Now think what you have, I must tell you, the list is infinite.

What do you get from spirituality?

There number of benefits to spirituality as it applies to healing emotional problems. I has listed a number of benefits that are gained through spirituality. These are:

Safety and Security

Through developing a connection with God, you gain security through the conviction that you are not all alone in the universe, even at those times when you feel separated from other people. You feel increasingly safe as you come to believe that there is a source you can always turn to in times of difficulty.

Self-Confidence

As you develop a relationship with God, you come to realize that he has created you and hence he has found something good in you. You are part of the universe. You're good, lovable, and worthy of respect just by virtue of the fact that you're God’s creation. This realization can improve the way you look at yourself and will help you to improve your ego and what you think of yourself.

Peace of Mind

Peace of mind is the result of feeling a deep sense of security and safety. The more trust you develop in God, the easier it becomes to deal without fear or worry with the challenges life brings. You simply learn that you can "let go" and turn to God when you feel stuck with a problem in living and don't know how to proceed.

Give and Receive Unconditional Love

The most fundamental characteristic of God is that it offers you an experience of unconditional love. This is a kind of love which differs from romantic love or even ordinary friendship. It entails an absolute caring for the welfare of another without any preconditions. That is, no matter how another person appears or acts, you have compassion and care for them without judgment. As you develop a deeper connection with God, you come to experience greater degrees of unconditional love in your life. You feel your heart opening more easily to people and their concerns.

Guidance

Developing a relationship with God will provide you with guidance for making decisions and solving problems. God has a universal wisdom that goes beyond what you can accomplish through your own intellect.Through connecting with God, you can draw upon this greater wisdom to help you resolve all kinds of difficulties. By learning to ask God for guidance, you'll be surprised to find that every sincere request sooner or later is answered. And the quality of that answer generally exceeds what you could have figured out through your own conscious intellect or will.

Nature and spirituality

For me there has always been a connection between nature and spirituality. When i was younger I didn't understand this, all I knew is that I loved being in nature. But now, as I've gotten older(elder) and still love to be in nature. I've begun to realize that there is a natural connection between the two. For example, I love hill tracking. Standing on peak of a hill always been a passion of mine. I used to think that the reason I liked such things was because of the natural beauty and heights. I've since realized that although I dolove the nature and hill tracking, thats all part of the slideshow. What has actually been going on for my entire life is that when I am in nature, standing on peak, I am also talking to God. Spirituality, Nature and God are impossible to tell apart. In many respect the two are the same thing. It's obvious that most of the great thinkers that have ever walked this planet noticed the connection between Nature, Spirituality and God.

It is impossible for anyone to take a walk in the nature alone and not feel the presence of God in my opinion. The easiest way to get back in touch with this presence that I'm calling God and, is through the serenity of nature. For me, it's always been apparent while standing on the peak of a hill. For you, maybe it's flowing river. For someone else it might be walking in a green park. The point is that nature and spirituality are forever connected.

What happens after death?

Old and Traditional views and thinking of death don't encourageor motivate us to think about it. Death is largely a taboo subject. Most of us don't like to think about the fact that one day we will die. Many people hold to the point of view that we live only once, and that after death there is either an 'heaven' or 'hell' or there is 'nothing' at all.
These points of view are something of 'an easy solution'. If we have some fixed prospect then there is no need anymore to think about it. The concept of 'heaven' and 'hell' as static states is a bit childish and humerous. Nature and science thoeries shows that everything is in a constant change (motion). Change is the essence of life. Everywhere in nature we can observe the play of opposites: day and night, sleeping and waking, life and death, etc. Regarding the pairs of opposites we note that everything has the possibility to pass into its opposite state.
Every pair of opposites has transitionary (passing or change from one place, state, condition etc to another) forms, e.g. good and bad,  getting better and getting worse. Night comes forth out of day via twilight, and day comes forth out of night via dawn.

Sleep comes forth out of being awake and being awake out of sleep. With each of these pairs of opposites one can find convertible states or forms. Moreover, one can easily understand these opposites and convertable forms. Appearance of  something is only a transition from one state to another.
If this applies to all pairs of opposites then the question arises whether life and death are also such a pair of opposites. If so, then it would be logical that there are transitionary and convertable states for life and death too. Death is certainly opposite to life, so let's start searching for transitionary states. One gets into life through birth. One gets into the state of death by dying. One can only die because one lives now. Analogous, one can only get into life because one has been dead before.

Conclusion: life and death come forth out of each other and pass into each other via transitional states. A very good reasoning indeed! One has only to observe the processes of nature to see endless cycles going on and on.
The key question is what is it exactly that is going through these changing states?
Answer: it is soul and consciousness.
Man is conscious, and specifically gifted with the power of reflection, thinking. The personality (physical things)  is a temporary vehicle builded by the real human  in order to express itself on the outer planes of life. The higher levels of thinking can be brought on this outer planes too, thereby providing the means of
verifying the truth of conversion.

Thursday

What is the exact purpose of our life?

I have asked this question many times already and have come up with several answers. I am here to help others, I am here to learn from my mistakes, and I am here to be kind to the people I interact with. Other answers include, I am here to do selfless service, to give love and receive in return, and to make this world a better place. All of these answers are reasonable and noble but they always left me with a feeling that there was still something missing.

One day I realized that the reason I and everyone else is here is to become enlightened, to know God, to know oneself. When I am in his presence, I feel indescribable peace and contentment. I forget all of my problems. They seem to not exist anymore. All of my fears, doubts and questions disappear and my mind becomes quiet and still.

the most important thing is the creating desire to know God, as a dying man thirsts for water so one should want God more than anything else. I am still on my spiritual journey and have been caught up in the illusion of the world many times, but I just keep getting back on track and one day I will wake up to my true nature.
